To CONNECT imperfect people on a journey to BE, LOVE and SERVE like Jesus….and to MULTIPLY by helping others do the same.

We are joining God in unleashing a movement of spiritual transformation overflowing in Kingdom multiplication.  This movement of restoration is changing lives and changing the world by bringing new life to people, relationships, the church and the world.
Core Values
We connect the unconnected to new life in Christ.
We grow to be like Jesus by listening to and obeying Jesus.
We love like Jesus by living in accountable community.
We serve like Jesus by exercising our gifts and calling.
We multiply disciple-making disciples.

Core Theological Convictions of Journey Community Church

  1. God-Beloved: We are Family.    We are beloved sons and daughters of God, brothers and sisters in Christ adopted into the family of God.
  2. Grace-Immersed: God’s Grace through Jesus Christ is Saving and Changing Us. We trust in the power of God’s Grace to pursue, save, sanctify and glorify God in us now and for all eternity.
  3. Biblically-Grounded The Bible is our Foundation. The revelation of God in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the foundation for what we believe and how we live.
  4. Christ-Centered: Jesus is EVERYTHING.  The words, ways and works of Jesus Christ, Son of God, are the means for us to receive life and give life to others.
  5. Spirit-Empowered: The Holy Spirit Fills and Fuels Us.  We are filled, transformed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, who is God, living in us.
  6. God-Glorifying: God’s Glory is our Purpose.  We are surrendered to the authority and purposes of God the Father, almighty, to reveal God’s glory to the ends of the earth.
  7. God-Sent: God’s Mission is Our Mission.  We are a people sent by a sending God on God’s mission to make disciples of all nations.
  8. Kingdom-Focused: God’s Kingdom on Earth is our Dream and Destination.  We are citizens and ambassadors of God’s already, but not yet Kingdom.
We are trusting God to multiply NEW disciple making disciples, new groups of people in community on mission, new worship gatherings, new churches and trained missional leaders.
